Our services / 01
Institutional Research
We work with you to further explore your data to facilitate data-driven decision.
01 / Scope
What it covers
- Needs assessments and situation analyses
- Feasibility and market studies
- Policy and operational research
- Knowledge, attitudes and practice (KAP) studies
- Qualitative studies: key informant interviews, focus group discussions and case studies
- Desk reviews and evidence syntheses
02 / Method
How we do it
We start with an inception phase. Together we agree the research questions, the method, the sample and the timeline, and we set them out in an inception report you approve before fieldwork begins.
We choose methods to fit the question, not the other way round. Many studies combine a quantitative survey with qualitative interviews, so that the numbers and the explanations support each other.
Where a study involves people, we obtain ethical clearance and informed consent, and we handle every record under a written data management plan.
03 / Deliverables
What you receive
- An inception report setting out the design, tools and work plan
- Final data collection tools, tested in the field
- A clean, documented dataset with its codebook
- A final report with an executive summary written for decision-makers
